About Sayan Bose

Sayan Bose is a foreign affairs journalist covering international politics, conflict, and global security. He specialises in geopolitics, diplomacy, and breaking global events, with reporting experience across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

His reporting examines how geopolitical decisions made in Washington, Moscow, Brussels and the Middle East reshape the international order — often in real time.

In a UK national newsroom, he has led coverage of major global flashpoints, broken high-impact international stories, and delivered live reporting during moments of acute geopolitical tension.

Sayan’s work focuses on the mechanics of power: military operations, foreign-policy shifts, election cycles, and the diplomacy behind closed doors. He has covered the Russia–Ukraine war, the Israel–Hamas conflict, Middle East escalation, US presidential politics, and senior-level engagements involving the White House and the Kremlin.

He has interviewed former NATO officials, senior political figures, and leading academics, and has provided on-air analysis for television news programmes. Across text and video, his journalism prioritises clarity, speed, and editorial judgement — translating complex geopolitical developments into precise, accessible reporting without sacrificing depth.

Sayan holds an MA in Journalism (Merit) from the University of Westminster, where his final project on the UK’s cost-of-living crisis was awarded distinction, and a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Delhi.
